Reid Baer WANTS a LIVING PROPHET to HELP US
-
By the power of the Word was
the Earth made and by the Word of
Holy Prophets was the Bible
written to inspire their own

generation, and did the folks
listen? Would we listen if a
prophet walked among us today?
Are only dead prophets true? Are

all living prophets false? What if …
what if there were a seer for our
time? Is it so impossible?
Does imagination forbid

such a thing? A Man of God would
provide essential vision for
this perishing world. I can not
be its savior. So shall I then

despise divine revelations
in the Bible or without? Who
shall say The Almighty speaks no
more? A scripture out of context?

I have a deep fondness for the
unsearchable depths within the
mysteries of God. Yet I pray
that the great and marvelous works

of the Lord have not ceased because
of me or thee my friend. Is there
Faith enough among us in this
modern dispensation for a

man bearing more sure witness of
Christ? Is there a Priesthood holder
who speaks for Him now as in days
past? Oh, bless us with an Elder

in the 21st century
to guide us through the season of
destruction and help prepare us
for Christ’s second coming. Dear Lord,

give unto the House of Israel
and the Gentiles one as great as
Abraham, Isaac, or Jacob
to reveal thy sacred Word once

again. The Spirit blesses, but
a properly ordained prophet
professes. We need him now. And
I … I am prepared to listen.
