English (my native language), Spanish (my second language, from mission in South America & long previous marriage to a native-speaker), & Portuguese (picked up along the way after returning from my mission).

Scriptures, science fiction, & a variety of other interesting topics. I also enjoy delving into science in general, and reading about research & current discoveries & theories. And stories with happy endings (I get enough of the other kind in real life).

I am particularly fond of music in Spanish, ranging from our church hymns to current popular stuff. I also like the Beach Boys, Beatles, The Corrs (from Ireland), The Carpenters, and a wide variety of other stuff.

Legacy (the movie put out by the church), and another documentary called "Pioneers of Africa", and also "Saints at War" (both the WWII episode, and the Korean War episode). There are others that I like as well, but that is a good start. If we ever end up in chat together, you can ask me which ones. I like adventure movies and movies with happy endings (as I already mentioned under books, I get my fill of the other kind of endings in real life).

Not sure - I have seen some good ones, but they never seem to come to mind at the moment when someone is asking me this question. If I can remember to do it, when they next cross my mind I will try to write them down and make a list. However, this falls under the category of things that can rightly be associated with the well-worn old saying, "don't hold your breath".

The marital status category doesn't provide a selection for my status. A while back I lost someone that I love very dearly, and who I desperately want to win back into my life (2nd wife, who left & took off for Monterrey, Mexico, which is her birthplace & the place she was raised and has lived most of her life). So - I'm not married, but I'm on a quest (right now she's not speaking to me - long story). In the meantime, I am trying to live as my Heavenly Father asks, and lend encouragement to others of his children around me, and trying to fight off the loneliness without falling into any of life's many pitfalls.

...of course, most of us probably also never thought we would ever live to
see the priesthood opened up to blacks during our mortal lifetime either
(back before it actually happened) -  who knows? It is all a matter of what
serves our Heavenly Father's purposes!

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the sealed portion of The Book of Mormon and whether I believe we will get it in our day.  Um, don't think so.  Given the response and resistance to scriptures in general then add The Book of Mormon plus The Doctrine and Covenants AND The Pearl of Great Price, I wish, sure, but people don't cherish what we have even, if all they believe in is The Bible.  I'm reading it in Spanish now also.  That is interesting.  I really enjoy it spilling off my tongue in another language.  Have you checked out my youtube channel of it?  Do subscribe.

Welcome to it all.

Warmly,

BOMR
